Live tank level, flow rate, totalized volume, pump state and supply power for every well and booster station, on your phone or computer.
Pilot program now open in California
FlowPoint monitors and controls wells, booster pumps, tank levels and water flow over LTE-M cellular, and sends alarms straight to your phone. Stop driving out to check tanks.

Live tank level, flow rate, totalized volume, pump state and supply power for every well and booster station, on your phone or computer.
Automatic stop on overload, phase loss, dry run or a failed start. Restart delays grow after each trip and the pump locks out before damage is done.
Battery backup keeps the unit talking long enough to send the power-fail alert. Readings taken while the network is down are stored and sent later.
Flow rate and totalized volume from pulse-output meters or Modbus flow meters.
4-20 mA level transmitters, float switches, or Modbus sensors.
Any 4-20 mA or Modbus sensor, scaled to engineering units (psi, ft, °F).
Start/stop control of 2 pumps or valves, with full panel feedback.
Supply voltage, battery level and power-fail alarms.
Door/intrusion and smoke inputs with a siren output.
Up to 8 Modbus RTU values over RS-485.
Timer mode and peak-hour energy saving to cut electricity costs.
The hardware
RTU20 mounts on a DIN rail inside your pump panel. It reads the site, runs the pumps by your rules, and reports over the cellular network, with no Wi-Fi or phone line needed.
| Cellular | LTE-M / NB-IoT, MQTT over TLS, SMS backup |
|---|---|
| Digital inputs | 8 isolated (120 VAC or 24 V versions); 1 also counts flow pulses |
| Relay outputs | 4 × SPDT, pilot duty |
| Analog inputs | 2 × 4-20 mA, loop power provided |
| Fieldbus | RS-485 Modbus RTU master |
| Pump lines | 2 pumps or valves |
| Power | 24 VDC, Li-ion battery backup |
| Offline storage | 4 MB, weeks of readings |
| Configuration | USB-C, text message, or cloud |
| Mounting | DIN rail |

Subscription
One subscription per site covers the cellular connection and the online dashboard. No servers to run and no IT department needed.
Every site on one screen: levels, flow, pump status, alarms. Works on phone, tablet and computer.
Text messages straight from the unit, plus dashboard alerts. Recovery messages tell you when a problem has cleared.
Trends of level, flow and run hours; totalized volume for water-use reporting.
Start, stop, change modes and set points from anywhere, with every command logged.
We supply and manage the IoT SIM on major US carriers.
Prefer your own system? Data is sent over standard MQTT and can feed your existing SCADA or dashboard.
RTU20 connects to your level sensor, flow meter, pump contactor and protection relays.
Readings and events go securely over LTE-M to FlowPoint Cloud. Alarms also go out by text.
Check levels and flow, get alerts and control pumps from your phone or computer.
Done for you
We don't just ship a box. Our team in Los Angeles designs, builds and installs the whole solution across California.
We visit the site, check cellular coverage, and specify sensors, meters and panel changes.
New control panels built in our shop with RTU20, contactors, protection relays and HOA switches, wired and tested before delivery.
Installation in existing panels, sensor and flow-meter hookup, and on-site testing of every alarm and control.
Replace controllers made useless by the 2G network shutdown, keeping the field behaviour your operators know.
Hands-on training for your operators on the dashboard, alarms and text commands.
Phone and remote support, with configuration changes made over the air.
Start the well pump at 30 % and stop at 80 %, with dry-run protection and overflow alarms. Know your water level every morning without leaving the office.
Schedule irrigation pumps, avoid peak electricity rates, and track every gallon pumped with flow totalizing.
Remote start/stop and pressure monitoring for booster pumps serving homes, HOAs and facilities.
Mutual water companies and small districts: production volumes, run hours and alarms in one place, for operations and reporting.
Limited pilot program
We are selecting a small number of California sites to work with us during the pilot phase of RTU20 and FlowPoint Cloud.
No. RTU20 has its own LTE-M cellular connection, designed for remote sites with weak signal. We check coverage during the site survey.
The pumps keep running on local control by your set points. Readings are stored in the unit (weeks of data) and uploaded automatically when the connection returns.
A built-in Li-ion battery keeps RTU20 running long enough to send the power-fail alarm by text and to the cloud, and to report when power comes back.
Yes. The panel's Hand-Off-Auto switch always has priority. RTU20 only controls the pump in AUTO, and reports when the switch is moved.
Meters with a pulse output (for example one pulse per 10 gallons) and meters with a Modbus RTU interface. Tell us your meter model and we will confirm.
Yes. RTU20 publishes standard MQTT messages and accepts commands the same way, so it can feed an existing system. Ask us about integration.
